Privacy policy
This policy describes the internal AMS CFO application operated by AMS Manufacturing for its founders.
Data the application accesses
With founder authorization, the application may read QuickBooks company information, financial reports, accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, and related accounting records. It also processes founder-provided operating information and data from other connected company systems.
How data is used
Data is used to reconcile cash and obligations, calculate runway, prepare internal analysis, surface missing or conflicting information, and support founder decisions. The QuickBooks connector is implemented as read-only and cannot create, edit, or delete QuickBooks records.
Storage and disclosure
QuickBooks OAuth tokens and the QuickBooks company identifier are encrypted by the authorized founder device's macOS Keychain. QuickBooks records and derived QuickBooks facts stay in private local application state and are not sent to external AI model providers. This public website stores neither OAuth tokens nor accounting reports. Separately sourced, non-QuickBooks business context may be sent to contracted AI model providers when a founder requests analysis. Data is not sold or used for third-party advertising.
Retention and security
Access is limited to authorized founders. The application uses encrypted transport, local access controls, least-privilege connector code, and audit receipts. Records are retained only as needed for company operations, security, accounting, and legal obligations. Founders can revoke QuickBooks access at any time.
